Havant Passion Play have asked us to share news that their postponed Launch Event has been rescheduled for Saturday 22nd October at 6pm at The Pallant Centre in Havant, PO9 1BE…

Owing to events surrounding the sad passing of our late Queen, the Launch Event we’d planned for September as a curtain raiser to our 2023 production had to be postponed. We’re still very much looking forward to our production in Staunton Country Park next year but we’ve needed to fix a new venue and a new date for our Launch Event as a result of its postponement. We’re now delighted to be able to invite you to our Launch Event on Saturday 22nd October at 6pm at The Pallant Centre in Havant, PO9 1BE, and we’re very grateful to the staff of the Centre for their helpful and friendly welcome to use their premises.

What might you expect of the evening? James Burke-Dunsmore, who will be directing the new play, will share his thoughts on how the excitement and challenges he has encountered playing Jesus around the world will influence the development of this new production, and actors from HPP will perform in short vignettes. Refreshments will be served, during which old friendships can be rekindled and new ones made.
