Bishop Philip writes…

The tree behind our garage here at Bishop’s House is clearly telling us that the seasons are moving on! Indeed, yesterday was the autumn equinox, a pivotal moment in the year, when the hours of daylight and darkness fall into perfect symmetry. As we enter autumn, let us also keep in mind ‘The Season of Creation’ which runs until 4th October. This is meant to be a time of prayer and action, when we engage in community events to deepen our relationship with God, with our neighbour and with the earth we share, being ever more attentive to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor.
