There seems to be a glimmer of hope this week for an end to the war in Ukraine, with a proposed peace deal involving Russia, Ukraine and the US. For this to happen, all sides will need to make concessions, of course, although what is being asked of Ukraine at this point in the process is enormous. Whatever happens, let us pray that the Holy Spirit will assist the negotiators and the forces for peace and reconciliation. Let us pray for a ceasefire, an end to violence and war, and the end of such a tragic loss of life and property.
