Anniversary

Last Saturday, 24th September, it was ten years since my ordination as the Bishop of Portsmouth. I thank all of your for your prayers, cards and greetings. This Thursday in the Cathedral, to mark the occasion, Canon David Hopgood and the Cathedral Chapter are kindly organising a Thanksgiving Mass (Thursday 29th September) at 12:00 noon, followed by a simple Reception in the Cathedral Centre. Everyone, clergy and faithful are invited. I know that many of you are unable to be there, but it will be an opportunity to thank God for all that He has given us these last ten years, and to ask His blessing on the times ahead. Please join me if you can on 29th – and do remember me in your prayers, especially on that day.
