The team from Caritas were excited to be invited to view the good work being delivered by volunteers at St Francis Parish Church in Ascot, supporting the Caritas Pollinator Campaign with the creation of a new Pollinator Garden at the front of the parish church designed and coordinated by Michelle MacDonald a local parish volunteer (pictured). Michelle was inspired by the Caritas campaign, which was launched towards the end of last year, encouraging parishes to do their bit for climate change and biodiversity and to address the national pollinator decline, through the creation of habitats for pollinators. This work support national campaigns such as the National Pollinator Strategy and PlantLife’s No Mow May and Road Verge Campaigns…
