Day of Prayer for Ukraine

A reminder that the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe has proposed a day of prayer for Ukraine to be held across Europe next Wednesday, 14th September, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. It is to be a mark of solidarity from the Catholic Church in Europe. The Council has asked that Cathedrals and other major churches host a period of Eucharistic Adoration. Parish churches and shrines are also invited to host a Holy Hour, and a list of church venues will be available from the Catholic Bishops’ Conference in the near future. Please save the date so that we can collectively stand in solidarity with Ukraine.
