Every human being has a value and dignity which we as Catholics acknowledge as coming directly from God’s creation of all men and women in his own image and likeness. This means we have a duty to value all people and therefore to support them and protect them from harm.
Victims and Survivors Charter
Our Charter for the Care of Victims and Survivors sets out our commitment to victims and survivors of abuse. We understand that speaking out about abuse can be very difficult and distressing, You may not have felt able to tell anyone before. We are here to support you in sharing your experience and signposting to specialist support services.
Care and Support for Victims and Survivors
Safe Spaces is a free, independent support service, providing a confidential, personal and safe space for anyone who has been abused by someone in the church or as a result of their relationship with the Catholic Church of England and Wales, the Church of England or the Church in Wales.
