Our World Youth Day pilgrims have  been met with glorious sunshine in Lisbon for World Youth Day 2023. The Holy Father, Pope Francis will lead parts of the programme throughout the week. He has asked for prayers for everyone taking part in #WYD2023 and that they may they be inspired to Make A Difference in their parishes and local area, through putting their Love in action in generosity and service.

Our own Diocesan programme includes a visit to Fatima, speaking about St John Paul I, exploring Lisbon and venerating the relics of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.

Please keep them in your prayers as they will for you as they get into the World Youth Day spirit. Our Lady of Fatima, St John Paul II, and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, pray for  them.
