As part of our ongoing community engagement, Caritas is establishing a community hub at St Joseph Parish in Havant. As a first step in this process and to illustrate the plan to the parish, the Caritas team gave a presentation to the evening supper club on Wednesday 14th September. In this first year, Caritas will deliver two main projects as part of the Hub. We will host a parent & toddler group every Wednesday morning or local families. In addition, every Thursday evening, the hub will be operating a free meal provision though a collaboration with FoodCycle. We would like to express our gratitude to parishioners who attended this meeting and for the generous £230 raised to go towards the FoodCycle project. Caritas is excited to start with these projects, work with the members of the parish and our partners and continue to grow the St Joseph Hub as a community base for social action in Havant.
