There are different ways we can support the Church in Bamenda including supporting prayer, formation and building and refurbishment projects.

  • Pray: We pray for our brothers and sisters in Bamenda throughout the year and celebrate a Bamenda Sunday each year on the 31st Sunday of the year where we share prayers of intercession as well as a newsletter and updates. This is also the weekend when parishes hold a collection to help fund various projects.

  • Training of Young Faith Workers: This project aims support the formation of 390 Young People in Bamenda (Youth Leaders) who will form at their various deaneries about 3,000 youths to strengthen their knowledge on Catholic Doctrine. This formation of the young people of the archdiocese is very important as it will help them understand the Church to which they are part of and their role in the Church. In addition, their activeness more in the Church will secure a future for the local Church of Bamenda.

There are a number of Church building/refurbishment projects in progress including:

  • St Jerome’s Church, Weh.
  • St. Clementine’s Church, Yemgeh.
  • St. Bernard’s Mission Station Church, Njindom.
