New DVD: In Persona Christi

Recently, St. Anthony Communications sent me a complimentary copy of their latest production In Persona Christi, a 52-minute DVD about the Catholic priesthood. The Catholic priesthood comes to us from Jesus Christ. He is the High Priest, the mediator between God and man. Building on the pattern of priesthood from Old Testament times, Jesus chose twelve men to act in His place as priests of the new and everlasting covenant. This film explores the essential nature and theology of the sacred priesthood, the importance of a deep prayer life, the centrality of the Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, devotion to the Blessed Virgin, priestly fatherhood and celibacy, and the necessity of a missionary zeal.
