Parish Finance Administrator and Secretary

Salary: £12,168 per annum (FTE £25,350)

Contract: Permanent, part-time, working 18 hours per week

Location: The Presbytery, 71 High View Road, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 7PT

Travel requirement: Some occasional travel may be required for training purposes

Our Lady of Lourdes & St Dominic are seeking a skilled and motivated Parish Finance Administrator and Secretary to join and support the Priest in Charge in ensuring the effective financial management of the parish. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial administration experience who is looking for a part‑time position within a welcoming and values‑driven community.

The Parish Finance Administrator and Secretary is responsible for the effective day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational management of the church. This role supports the ministry by ensuring smooth communication, accurate financial records, and efficient office systems.

About the Role

The Parish Finance Administrator and Secretary is responsible for the effective day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational management of the church. This role supports the ministry by ensuring smooth communication, accurate financial records, and efficient office systems.

You will also assist with governance, compliance, Gift Aid, fundraising processes, and coordination with the Diocese of Portsmouth’s Curia departments.
