Can Catholic teaching change?
We’re pleased to release a recorded talk with Bishop Philip Egan exploring the question: Can Catholic teaching change?
Drawing on history, the writings of theologians, and the witness of the saints, the Bishop examines the development of doctrine and the continuity of Church teaching, offering a thoughtful reflection on how the Catholic Church understands authentic doctrinal development over time.
The recording is available on Spotify and on YouTube.
Recorded at Saint John’s Cathedral during “Theology on Tap” in March 20, 2026.
