We have just returned from our six-day diocesan pilgrimage to Turin and Assisi following in the footsteps of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and St. Carlo Acutis. We had an amazing pilgrimage, including Mass at the shrine of St. Carlo in the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Assisi. I found it all deeply moving: it was as if St. Carlo was asleep. There were large numbers of young people visiting his shrine to invoke his intercession. There’ll be more in e-News next week about our trip.
